"Summer dream" is a cover version taken from the Greek movie "Operation Apollo / Apollo goes on holiday" (1968) Director: George Skalenakis.
The music of the film featured three composers: Most of the music was composed by Gianis Markopoulos, someone doing a big-band music (uncredited),
and finally an instrumental piece written and performed by Vangelis, titled "Summer Dream".
The piece also appears as a song performed by Elena Nathanael and Jan during the movie.
The soundtrack of the film was released on LP but Vangelis' Summer Dream was not included.

* only this song contains music of Vangelis.
Lyrics of "Summer dream" written by: Giorgos Papastefanou.

Note: Vangelis does not play on this album.
Greek title of the CD: "Otan allazei o kairos".

Agni (full name Agni Tsirou) is a female Greek singer who started her music career in the mid-1970s. She released her debut single, "I'm Not a Baby Anymore," in 1975 on the Music Box label. That same year, she released her first album, "Dreams," on the PANVOX label.
Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Agni continued to release music and perform in Greece. She released several albums during this time, including "Agni" (1979), "Love in the City" (1980), and "S' Agapo" (1982).
In the 1990s, Agni took a break from music and focused on other interests. However, in 2006, she released a new album titled "Otan Allazei O Kairos" (When the Season Changes), which featured a mix of original songs and covers of Greek classics.

Overall, Agni is known for her soulful voice and her ability to interpret a wide range of musical styles, from pop to traditional Greek music. She remains a beloved figure in the Greek music scene, and her music continues to be enjoyed by fans both in Greece and around the world.

SUMMER DREAM lyrics

Now that you are
In this kind of dream
Sing a song of love with a breeze

No words can say
what I feel today
Sun is bright and clouds went away

Now that you are
In this kind of dream
Sing a song of love with a breeze

No words can say
what I feel today
Sun is bright and clouds went away

lala lala lalalala...

Walking on the side
Never comes a night
And no rain will enter my heart

When you smile at me
Anyone can see
Love with you and you like the stars

Now that you are
In this kind of dream
Sing a song of love with a breeze

No words can say
what I feel today
Sun is bright and clouds went away

lala lala lalalala...

Birds are flying in the sky
And my heart wants to fly
No more tears no more signs
since I found my love in your eyes.

Walking on the side
Never comes a night
And no rain will enter my heart

When you smile at me
Anyone can see
Love with you and you like the stars

Now that you are
In this kind of dream
Sing a song of love with a breeze

No words can say
what I feel today
Sun is bright and clouds went away

lala lala lalalala...

Birds are flying in the sky
And my heart wants to fly
No more tears no more signs
since I found my love in your eyes

Walking on the side
Never comes the night
And no rain will enter my heart

When you smile at me
Anyone can see
Love with you and you like the stars
Love with you and you like the stars
Love with you and you like the stars
Love with you and you like the stars
Love with you and you like the stars
